May 6 and 7, 2026, Brussels -The Dewatripont Fest brought together at ULB a remarkable community of academics, policymakers, professionals, Phd and students for two exceptionally rich days, marked by high-level discussions, insightful exchanges and the outstanding quality of its speakers and moderators.

Reflecting the career of Mathias Dewatripont, a leading figure in economics whose work has had a profound impact on fields such as financial regulation, organizational theory, public economics and health policy, the event brilliantly showcased the breadth and influence of his intellectual contributions. His key role in the development of ECARES and his commitment to the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management were also highlighted.
